The library’s collection covers a wide range of materials, including periodicals, newspapers, audiovisual materials, and digital resources (e-books, e-journals, and electronic databases), in addition to books, and covers a wide range of subjects in the humanities, arts, social sciences, nature, and applied sciences. The library has materials in Chinese as well as various European languages and Southeast Asian languages, and the depth of the content is at a general level for leisure and entertainment, learning and daily needs, while in-depth resources on professional and academic research are secondary. The library also collects books that meet the needs of various groups such as children, teenagers, and the aging population to meet the interests and needs of different groups and provide the public with diversified and convenient information services.
