Unveiling the Encyclopedic World
Unveiling the Encyclopedic World

How to ExploreThis Exhibition Unveiling the Encyclopedic World consists of four zones: the Library Lobby on the 3rd floor, the Era Space and Culture Forest on the 5th floor, and the Linguistics & Literature section on the 6th floor. You may refer to the leaflet and the Knowledge Map for their locations. Following the Encyclopédie’s classification of knowledge into the three major themes of Memory, Reason, and Imagination, this exhibition selects thirty-seven entries that pair objects with books, which you are invited to read as you move through the space. Think of this space as an encyclopedia in motion: each entry functions as an index, guiding you to freely choose the themes and exhibits you wish to explore. There is no need to read all the texts at once. Feel free to skip, cross-reference, or simply appreciate the plates and reflect on the questions they raise. If you wish to delve deeper, please visit the website to download the guidebook, which includes full descriptions of each entry and a suggested reading list—an invitation to continue your exploration beyond the show.
