Around the World in 70 Maps — Three Centuries of Cartographic Treasures from Children's Literature

本展與德國慕尼黑國際青少年圖書館（International Youth Library, Munich）合作，精選跨越三個世紀的文學作品，從歷史文獻、知識圖鑑到經典文學與奇幻故事，展現地圖如何超越導航功能，成為人們探索世界、理解文化與建構想像的重要媒介。
展期：8/4 (Tue.) — 12/20 (Sun.)

回應主展覽的策展概念，聚焦臺灣兒童與青少年文學及繪本中，同樣以「地圖」為主題的創作。

Wandering Around the Island: Maps in Taiwan Literature
臺灣也有許多創作者透過地圖帶領讀者進入故事的世界。
有些作品細膩描繪作者於臺灣家鄉及海外旅遊經驗的觀察；有些作品則將角色性格、劇情發展與地圖緊密結合。
透過地圖，我們可以重新認識自己生活的土地，也能展開一場充滿想像和未知的冒險。
There are many Taiwanese authors who also use maps to lead the readers into the world of their stories. Some of these works vividly depict our hometown Taiwan while others share their fun observations traveling to other parts of the world. There are also works in which the characters and the storylines are deeply connected with maps. Through maps, surely we can revisit our own land, but we can also start an adventure with all kinds of fantasies and unknown things as well.

透過臺灣出版社和譯者的努力，來自世界各地的重要經典作品得以跨越語言與文化的界線，讓我們有機會接觸不同文化創作者的世界，也拓展了閱讀的視野。
在這些翻譯作品中，地圖同樣是故事的重要元素，一起看看它們如何引領我們走入全新的冒險吧！
Thanks to Taiwan’s publishers and translators, important classic works from all around the world were able to cross the borders of language and culture, giving readers the opportunity to discover other cultures and worlds. In these translated works, maps also play an important role, now let us take the new adventures together and see what these maps would show us.
